Is it right to shut down a city or a country to show protest against some event..?

To show opposition to any event in India, political parties, social organizations, or religious organizations call for a bandh. In which most of the hoarding takes place between the political parties. Many inappropriate incidents happen during the bandh.

But is this the right way to protest..?

The Indian constitution gives the right to every rich-poor citizen to express his opinion on any event, but this protest should be done peacefully. But nowadays, due to small incidents, this bandh movement has become like a fashion. During which it has become common practice to cause violence and damage to public and private property.

By the way, this thing is like 'Where is the pain and where is the medicine'.

Any problem has a definite solution. If the government is not fulfilling the demands of any specific community or workers, to solve this problem, it would be the right step to convey your demands to the government or to knock on the door of the court. But it is seen more and more that during the labor movement of a company, the property of the same company is damaged. is it fair?

A shoemaking company in Japan was not accepting the demands of the workers. In this condition, the workers did not stop the work but came up with a special trick. In which they started making only left foot shoe. Meaning the work was not stopped and only one shoe company could not sell. Seeing this, the company fulfilled all demands of the workers and from the next day, workers started making right foot shoes, in which production also took place and the company could not even deduct the salary because the work was not stopped.

Some groups lock down a city, state or country which is the wrong way. In which the general public has to bear the maximum loss.

1) Due to the closure of the city, the shops remain closed. Due to which poor people are not able to buy daily essentials and food items, due to which there is starvation.

2) Due to the closure of transport, it is difficult for the patient to reach the hospital for treatment, which has nothing to do with the incident. Students are not able to go to school, college, due to which their education suffers.

3) Those who run the house by doing small business have trouble. Big shopkeepers also suffer due to the closure of shops.

4) During the bandh, public property is damaged, which increases the financial burden on the government, which the government collects by increasing the tax.

5) Some anti-social elements indulge in violence, loot, which increases communal tension.

Sometimes bandhs are organized just based on rumors. Whereas reality is something else. All political parties take advantage of this. They all mix and provoke the general public. No leader or his son is ever killed during the movement, but common youth are caught and put in jail, due to which they lose their future.

It is not wrong to protest an unfair incident, but an innocent should not have to suffer for it. Therefore, seeing who is responsible for any unfair incident, he should be punished within the legal framework and not harm the innocent.
